A clinical argument for an examined life
Human Authorship explores the tension between the life we inherit and the life we help create. Drawing on medicine, personal reflection and the experience of building, Dr. Kamy asks how we can notice our patterns, recover a sense of agency and make room for meaning.
“Lifespan without authorship is just a longer sentence.”
For readers asking what comes next: in their work, relationships, health or inner life. The book treats authorship as an ongoing practice of attention and choice, with respect for the circumstances and limits we cannot simply wish away.

About the Author
I’m Kambiz “Kamy” Farbakhsh, a physician, entrepreneur, inventor and author. My work in medicine and business has made me curious about how we live, what shapes our choices and where we find connection. I helped found GeeVida Health and am one of the inventors named on U.S. Patent 11,697,301. I wrote Dance with Aging in 2024 and continue the conversation in The Architecture of Becoming on Substack. Human Authorship brings many of these questions together.
